DAL Global Services Social Media Insights Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia


Delta Global Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, Inc., has a Social Insights Analyst Job in Atlanta, GA through our Staffing Division. In the Social Insights Analyst Job, candidates will design and deliver social media reports to uncover drivers of conversation around the Airline and performance of social content. This individual will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs and will develop solutions to monitor social trends around the brand, customer experience, campaigns, events, and competitor activity. The Analyst will use his or her social media and digital expertise to identify innovative reactive and proactive content opportunities, foster relationships with internal and external key influencers, and provide regular reports to inform business decisions.


  • Partner with stakeholders to identify social intelligence objectives and reporting deliverables to inform business decisions.

  • Serve as primary day to day operator of social intelligence tools including management of keyword development, query parameters, and dashboards

  • Interpret data from social listening tools including volume, sentiment, conversation drivers, influencers, etc.

  • Provide alerts identifying potential negative or crisis situations and communicate with appropriate stakeholders.

  • Develop audience insights based on available online and offline data to inform marketing and communications efforts.

  • Manage a deliverable calendar of recurring and ad hoc reports.

  • Regularly audit and evaluate competitors’ social media efforts.

  • Assist in managing agency support of paid social media campaigns.

  • Assist with social content and strategy development.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in both social and digital spheres.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Communications, Information Technology, or related educational fields

  • 3-5 years of social media monitoring or marketing analytics experience with large consumer brands

  • Strong strategic understanding of social listening from a business perspective and experience pulling data from social media listening/analytics tools

  • Experience establishing metrics, gleaning insights, and recommending strategies that support organizational goals

  • Expert knowledge of social media landscape and a strong interest in emerging technologies

  • Experience participating in a wide variety of social media activities including content generation, community development, and campaign management

  • Working knowledge of paid social media tactics

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal/presentation

  • Comfortable multi-tasking and able to deliver insights in a fast paced environment

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
