The Administrative Secretary performs routine secretarial and general office tasks. Organizing of various meetings, preparing minutes, and preparing presentations. Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel software. Correspondence and support for the director.

The ideal candidate for Wellstar’s Diabetes Services Administrative Secretary position is a team player, exhibits excellent customer services and enjoys proactive problem solving. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint experience are required. Registration and scheduling (staff and patient) experience strongly preferred.


Required Minimum Education: High school required. Degree or Business School preferred

Required Minimum Experience: Three to five years of secretarial experience

Required Minimum Skills: Communication and public relations skills. Computer skills to include: Word, Excel, Power Point software and graphic designs. Ability to multi-task and problem solve. Ability to handle situations with tact and sensitivity.
